Mr. Cargill has over 10 years of financial services experience and brings both investment banking and commercial banking experience to Republic. Having joined Republic in 2017, Blake helps lead the execution of M&A engagements while working closely with clients to achieve their goals.

In 2024, Blake was selected as a recipient of the “15th Annual Emerging Leaders Award” by The M&A Advisor. This award recognizes young professionals under the age of 40 who have made groundbreaking contributions to the fields of M&A, corporate finance, and restructuring while demonstrating unwavering dedication to their profession and to charitable causes.

Prior to joining Republic, Mr. Cargill was an Investment Banking Analyst with Canaccord Genuity, the global capital markets division of Canaccord Genuity Group offering institutional and corporate clients with idea-driven investment banking, advisory, research, sales and trading services from offices in 10 countries worldwide. Blake performed analysis and assisted in execution of capital markets financing solutions including equity and debt offerings for companies, advised clients on business valuation, pricing, and structuring of transactions for mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Cargill also served as a Credit Analyst in the Officer Development Program of Amegy Bank of Texas where he applied finance and accounting skills to assess business and credit risk while working with executive leadership.

Mr. Cargill graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Blake also serves as a Senior Mentor on the Baylor Investment and Advisory Network where he mentors students as they seek placement in investment banking, wealth management, private equity, and related industries.
