Republic Capital Group Launches Free Virtual Internship to Open Investment Banking’s Front Door to More Students

Republic Capital Group has launched a free, two-week virtual internship that gives college students a real look inside investment banking and wealth management. It’s built mainly for students in the Langston Wealth Management Center at the University of Texas at Austin, but students from other schools can join too. Interns work in small teams on a capstone project, give presentations and join open discussion sessions led by RCG’s bankers. The firm also presents the program as a low-cost model that other small and mid-sized firms could copy to find new talent and reach students outside traditional recruiting pipelines.
