Mr. Timoni has more than 10 years of financial services experience across investment banking, corporate finance, capital structuring, credit underwriting and equity security analysis. Having joined Republic in 2023, John helps the execution of M&A engagements while working closely with clients to achieve their goals.

Prior to joining Republic, Mr. Timoni was an Investment Banking Associate at Raymond James in the Asset and Wealth Management group. John played a critical role as the project manager on deal teams with responsibilities including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and performing business due diligence.

Mr. Timoni also served as a Corporate Banking Senior Associate at Citigroup in the Financial Institutions Group covering specialty finance and financial technology companies. In this role, John focused on corporate finance, capital structure analysis, capital raising, credit and cross selling Citi’s full suite of banking products. Prior to joining Citigroup, John held other roles in credit underwriting and institutional equity research covering various industries across industrials, manufacturing, consumer and business services.

Mr. Timoni graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Minor in Economics.
